Why can changing employee behavior be so difficult? Explain and provide specific examples to support your response.

Identify potential gaps or areas for growth

1. Identify potential gaps or areas for growth

For this section, you will review and consider information related to the current performance or health of your selected organization or educational setting. Your selected sources should provide sufficient information to evaluate both internal and external factors impacting the organization or educational setting you are investigating and should only include evidence, anecdotal accounts, etc.  No data collection requiring Institutional Review Board (IRB) approval should be considered in the SRP. Students will obtain information for three matrices (i.e., SWOT, Internal Factor Evaluation, External Factor Evaluation).

Once you have compiled all relevant evidence, you will analyze the internal and external areas for growth of your selected organization or educational setting.  Be sure the methods and technologies you select in your analysis are in alignment to each of the respective sources you selected.  As part of your evaluation, you will conduct a Strength, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) analysis. However, the evaluation you conduct should align to the sources you have acquired, and you may consider additional types of analysis with various models. The final product for this part will be a narrative that is a minimum of six full pages in length. Any data sources utilized in this part should be compiled as appendices.

Additional information for Part 1B Calculating the Internal and External Factor Evaluation Matrices ´ Provide 10 strengths for your organization; Provide 10 weaknesses for your organization.

´ Provide 10 opportunities for your organization; Provide 10 threats for your organization.

´ You will weight the internal factors (strengths, weaknesses) together so that the 20 factors will equal 1.00.

´ You will weight the external factors (opportunities, threats) together so that the 20 factors will equal 1.00.

´ You will also give each of the 40 factors a rating of 1 to 4. The rating of 1 to 4: 1 refers to poor, 2 refers to below average, 3 refers to above average, and 4 refers to superior. These numbers indicate how your current strategy is addressing each factor. Are you overcoming it well or not?

´ Then you will multiply the weight times the rating to obtain your weighted score. Then add them all together vertically to obtain a total weighted score.

´ The total weighted score should be above 2.5, which shows the organization is strong. You will explain this in your content.

Determining FOUR Key Factors of each SWOT

´ Choose four (4) factors from each category in which you want to further explore. You will provide a narrative as to why you chose the four (4) factors from each category (SWOT).

´ For the Internal Assessment, you will delve into the internal factors of the strengths and weaknesses within the organization. The following sections should be explained from your matrices: (a) internal assessment of the organization, (b) internal factor (8) evaluation matrix, and (c) a conclusion.

´ For the External Assessment, you will review the external factors regarding the

opportunities and threats imposed upon your organization. The following sections should be explained from your matrices: (a) external assessment of the organization, (b) external factors (8) evaluation matrix, and (c) a conclusion.

Additional Information for Lesson Planning

I submitted my lesson plan but I guess I did not do it right. I have attached what the instructor has sent me. Please look at what I submitted and make corrections. I NEED THIS ASSIGNMENT BEFORE NOON CENTRAL TIME ZONE TOMORROW.

Additional Information for Lesson Planning

For your Student Learning objectives, begin them with TSW and tell which ones you expect to assess. You have way too many. Also identify them as Bloom’s levels. Most of yours say demonstrate. Will they not apply some skills, which is a higher level? I should see a TTW and TSW sequence as to what you are instructing (saying) and what you expect TSW do. Follow the lesson plan sample, with the exception that you will not say you merely observe students doing skills. For assessments, you should use a checklist, exit ticket, pre-post assessment, etc. You need to re-do this assignment.

I need more information for your lesson plan for those indicators other than 11, 12, 18, & 24. I need you to upload a document titled, Additional Information, in which you justify/explain how you use these indicators (where you stated this is observable) in your lessons. You should not say in your plans that “this will be observed”. Please help the reader know your intentions by stating “how” you implement the indicators. I noticed some of you addressed these in your classroom description sheet, such as those indicators for classroom management, including and how you arrange your classrooms to create a culturally inclusive environment for fairness, safety, respect, etc

Research Proposal: Literature Review Assignment Instructions

Overview

The discipline of correction faces many challenges today. Overcrowding, financial constraints, and reentry programming, and rising rates of recidivism are a few of the more pressing issues facing corrections officials and our elected legislatures. Perhaps one of the more significant issues is that recidivism rates have hovered near 60% in recent years; recidivism being defined as offenders who are rearrested within three years of release from prison. At least part of the reason for this and other problems is the that corrections’ officials have historically been reluctant to rely more on evidence-based practice to inform policy. The underlying theme for this course is that it is a best practice to rely on evidence-based programming and policy to rehabilitate offenders and prepare them for release back to society. This may take the form of programs offered inside the prison, on probation, or while being monitored on parole. It may also involve specific policy that influences sentencing and parole decisions. This assignment is important because it helps you to understand the process of identifying relevant problems, researching literature related to the topic, and proposing a research study that can address one of the significant issues in corrections. It is essential that our corrections’ officials rely more on evidence-based practice; this assignment prepares students to work in those fields as professionals and leaders who can assess problems and propose solutions. The second part of the research paper assignment requires students to develop a literature review that explores previous corrections’ research and how it is relevant to your proposed study.
